Math Circle

This program is designed to provide middle school students with a variety of engaging mathematical experiences focused on extending their understanding and knowledge in mathematics. Topics include:

There will be two consecutive sessions run each Saturday. Students will have a short lunch break between sessions and must provide their own lunches.


The Math Circle program focuses on enabling participants to build self-belief and mathematical confidence, on encouraging and nurturing excellence in mathematics and sciences, and on providing exposure to expert mathematical training and accomplished professionals who may serve as role models and mentors for the students. A total of 25 students distributed approximately evenly across the four grades will be accepted with preference being given to those that are able to commit to attending all 8 sessions on the 4 scheduled Saturdays.
